My prior experience with technology has not been limited, however I have never fully taken advantage of the opportunity I have to use technology. Most days my use of technology is limited to my iPhone and my Mac laptop. That's all I know how to use so far, but I hope to learn more.
I want to learn more about how to use technology to better prepare students for successful careers. I specifically would like to learn more about Prezi and the standards required for teaching with technology. Hopefully, through a better understanding of technology, I can provide students with the ability to successfully integrate into a typical and modern workplace.
Learning works best for me when I hear information being said and then write down that information. The need to write down the information I am trying to process makes me an active learner. I am a very intuitive person so the possibility and connections of different theories or ideas is always running through my mind to help me see the bigger picture.
Wonderful post, Quin! This course introduces you to software and hardware options that you can use in your future classroom. We don't go over Prezi in depth; however, you are welcome to explore it as one of your Independent Learning Projects!
